Paul Douglas Scott

President and Founder

A television-programming and new media pioneer, Doug Scott, 43, was awarded 9 Telly Awards for his company’s work in 2010. As President of the Production Team, Doug leads one of Florida’s largest independent production companies, with 4 celebrity-hosted shows and counting. With a steady stream of impressive national and international Featured Guests on his shows, a strong and ever-expanding internet presence, and robust airings nationwide, Doug’s path to leadership mirrors that of the industry itself – continuously thriving. Throughout his career, Doug’s business initiatives were designed with one goal in mind – to bring timely information to viewers. His vision has led to company and industry-leading innovations in programming while catapulting guests on the show with positive brand-building. In addition to producing award-winning segments, Doug is proud of the work the company has done with non-profits. With his sharp focus on creativity, his emphasis on technical excellence and his conviction for internal teamwork, Doug’s contributions have been integral to the company’s ongoing success. Doug’s leadership and passion have become hallmarks of his tenure. He has infused the Studio with his own brand of energetic leadership, vision and spirit.

Prior to founding Today in America with Terry Bradshaw, Doug had over 15 years of experience in mass media. He worked for Intermedia Marketing Solutions, Inc. for 3 years while serving as Vice President of Marketing and the Senior Vice President of New Media Development. Doug has served on several non-profit committees and is particularly involved in supporting single mothers in South Florida. Having grown up in South Florida, Doug and his wife chose Parkland as the community to call home. Now long-time residents with four children, they couldn’t think of a better place to call home. Doug is Chairman of the Board at 4 Kids of South Florida (www.4kidsofsfl.org). Doug’s involvement with children has also earned him an appointment as a board member for Little League of America’s Parkland Florida branch where he continues to coach today.


Jim Nicholas Veser

Senior Vice President of Production

For Jim Nicholas Veser, this year marks a decade with the Production Team. Jim began his career at a very early age on stage and in front of the camera. During his attendance at West Virginia University on a full theatre scholarship, he became interested in hospitality and worked in the industry while performing on Equity stages throughout the Northeast. His Creative and Leadership strengths eventually landed him Director of Business Travel Sales for The Ritz Carlton, Battery Park in Manhattan. Soon after, he was drawn to the warm weather and endless opportunity of television in South Florida. He began his career at Today in America with Terry Bradshaw. as a Creative Director and ultimately became the Senior Producer for several shows produced by the company. In 2008, he was promoted to Vice President of Production. Jim is at home in his current position and thrives in the free and creative environment that he has created for the many Scriptwriters, Production Coordinators, Editors, Post Production and Traffic Coordinators, and Directors of Photography. Under his leadership, the team has achieved tremendous success including 20 Telly Awards won in four years. When he is not busy at work, Jim spends his time on stage, and most importantly, with his loving wife, Dawn, and his son, Ryan.


Kyra Burton

Vice President of Programming

Kyra Burton spent the first four years of her career as a teacher in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. As a member of the Production team, Kyra has held several positions within the company. Kyra was the company’s Production Manager for five years and was directly responsible for running all aspects of the department’s activities. While on the job, the company witnessed the successful implementation of many of the processes that are still thriving today. While possessing a strong background in all phases of production, Kyra has key experience in writing web content, magazine articles, commercials and training resources. She has written a wide variety of television segments that have appeared on regional and national television. Kyra currently writes a business blog that is published for one of Studio’s popular shows. As Vice President of Programming, Kyra is responsible for ensuring that goals are met with the overall financial health of the company, including client relations, collections, strategic planning, and growth initiatives. When not hard at work, Kyra enjoys spending time in the great outdoors and keeping up with current events.


Gary Baris

Vice President of Media

With more than 13 years of experience in television production, Gary Baris brings extensive knowledge of every aspect of the industry, from concept through on-air execution and media consulting. Gary was born and raised twenty minutes from New York City and received his Bachelors of Science in Marketing and Business Administration from the prestigious Villanova University, located in Villanova, PA. There, he earned Dean’s List accolades, and was also a founding father at Villanova of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Gary has been instrumental in the development of hundreds of celebrity hosted television segments and programs over the years that have been recognized with several Telly Awards. As an innovator in the field of television program distribution, Gary possesses a unique knowledge-base of global media opportunities and oversees a seven-figure annual media spending budget placing hundreds of programs on networks like ION, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Women’s Entertainment, Fox Business Network and CNN Headline News, among other major national networks.


Angelo Tony Ferraro

Producer

This coming year will mark eight years with our Production Team for Tony Ferraro. He began his career with the company as an Associate Producer, and today, serves as a Producer working on a wide range of stories. “For me, there’s no greater feeling of accomplishment than working on great stories that need to be told, educating viewers on the subjects and bringing the stories to life through the magic of television,” says Tony. His enthusiasm for helping to create the very best in television programming is surpassed only by his passion for being a great husband and father.


Anthony DeMellio

Producer

Anthony has been in the television industry for over 15 years. He started his career with a show hosted by the late, great Charlton Heston (Moses), and later worked with “60 Minutes” correspondent, Morley Safer. Today, Anthony enjoys working with four-time Super Bowl champion, Terry Bradshaw. Anthony has the creative ability to work on a diverse array of stories, ranging from the latest in breast cancer technology to wind power innovations of the 21st Century. He is heavily involved with his local church, Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale, and presently goes on Mission trips to help the lost and the needy.


Ron Goodman

Producer

Rapidly approaching 8 years with the company, Ron took a slightly different path to his position as Senior Producer. With his previous background in healthcare and technology, Ron brings added insight, experience and knowledge to many of the medical stories he helps create. He is also a strong proponent of environmental causes and that is also reflected in his influence on these issues in segments he is involved in. Originally from NYC, Ron a devoted father of 3, is engaged to Randi Seiger, a High School Guidance Counselor. He is a serious Foody, loves music and is an avid tennis player and enthusiast.


Tiffany Davidson

Production Manager

Tiffany Davidson, a New York native, moved to Florida in 2001, where she began her career with Production Team. Tiffany has been with the company for 11 years where she has held several positions in various departments. Today, Tiffany is the Production Manager and oversees the day-to-day operations of the entire production department. As an integral member of the production team, Tiffany has developed new systems to streamline the production process. Since joining the Production Team, the Studio has been the recipient of several awards, including 12 Telly’s. After working in television for a number of years Tiffany has developed a passion for the production industry and mass media communications.


Evan Golden

Creative Producer

Evan Golden lives in Coral Springs, Florida and came upon his entertainment career in a moment of serendipity. While accompanying his sister to an MTV audition, Evan was spotted by the show’s producers and asked to audition for a special with Carmen Electra. Evan got that part and was asked to appear as a guest on other programs like “Trigger Happy TV”, “The Mandy Moore Show” and “Wanna Come In?” Evan has also worked as a model appearing in national campaigns for Disney World, Aqua-Leisure, Full Armor, EPIC, Sacino’s and has been named Universal Studios Orlando spokes model, where he lead the Electricty, Twister, Grad Bash and CityWalk campaigns. Evan Golden is most recognized for his lead role in the highly publicized reality show titled, “Ivana Young Man”, hosted by Ivana Trump. After a nice long run in front of the camera, in 2005, Golden made the transition behind the scenes where he is now leading the way in television with his creative direction and utilizing the term “Edutainment.” His mission is to educate and always entertain his viewership. He is married to Nikki Golden and they have two sons, Stone & Zane.


Kristen Albanese

Senior Production Coordinator

Kristen attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she received her degree in Broadcast Journalism and an International Media Certificate. This South Florida native celebrated her 3 year anniversary with the Studio in August, 2011. Currently, Kristen oversees the shoot coordination and pre production logistics for each segment. In total, she has coordinated over 600 shoots to date. When she is not producing, she enjoys the beach, traveling and attending local concerts. Kristen is also an active member of a national non-profit organization in Fort Lauderdale and strives to be involved in different philanthropic efforts throughout South Florida.


David Stack

Senior Editor

David received a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications with a Television Production emphasis from ORU. For seven years he worked as a video editor in news at WFAA in Dallas, WFLA in Tampa and WTVJ in Miami. For two years, he worked for Carnival Cruise Line’s Video Services where he trained personnel and supervised the shooting and editing of wedding videos. David is currently Senior Editor at the Studio where he has worked since November of 2002. He is the last stop in the Production Department and the final quality control for every show and segment, as he formats them for national and regional broadcast. David also functions as Closed Captioning Director as he oversees this important process.


Mike McCloskey

New Media Director

Mike has been with Production Team since 2002, starting as an Editor of segments. Promising himself upon graduating college he would not shoot wedding videos, he managed to shoot and edit over 300 of them (along with many Corporate Videos and a video series for the Professional Event Photographers called the “Producers Series”) before he moved from New Jersey to Florida in 1994. After editing a children’s show called “JellyBean Jungle” that aired on CBS television in 1995, Mike has worked in television ever since. In 2008, Mike became the New Media Director, creating DVD, CD and Streaming Videos and still editing segments for our Featured Guests. When he is not burning DVD’s, editing segments or updating a computer or two, Mike and his wife try to keep up with their 2 boys, aged 6 and 8.


Scottie Robert Scott

Vice President of Research

Scottie Scott is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was on active duty for 10 years and served in the European and Asian theaters. Scottie attended George Washington University and received his Associates of Applied Science degree from the Community College of the Air Force while in Germany. In 2001, Scottie joined our Production Team as Vice President of Research. He is responsible for all research activities and also oversees the company’s internship program. Scottie has worked directly with school administrators to ensure media students meet and achieve their requirements to receive their degrees. He is responsible for their training schedule and strives to ensure an exciting kickoff to a career in media. When Scottie is not at work, he loves to spend time with his son, Jonathan, a security officer with the United States Air Force, his daughter Nicole and his girlfriend Norma.


Heather Davis

Management Coordinator

Heather Davis is both energetic and focused. As a seasoned Contact Manager with over 4 years of experience working in the television programming field, Heather has held a variety of job titles within the company including researcher, trainer and manager. Currently studying Human Resource Management at Broward College, Heather is highly organized and used to taking on multiple tasks at any given time. Wearing many hats within the company, she has gained a special perspective on current trends in media and in a variety of industries, and in 2012, was promoted to Senior Manager of all Contact Managers. A native Floridian, Heather loves music, softball and watching sports.
